Global students can enjoy Best of both worlds.

.

A new joint-venture has been established to help UK, USA and European universities attract overseas students.

Ashfordís Human Resource Group (HRG) has teamed up with ICONS International Partnership (IIP), a world leader in sourcing, processing and the introduction of students, undergraduates and post graduates.

Founded by Pawan Srivastava and Kaustav Majumdar during their periods at British universities, IIP applicants are found via a network of over 30 agents, consultants and associates based throughout the Middle and Far East.

Jack Parkinson, HRG Chairman, said: ìI am delighted that ICONS has joined our Group. It brings with it an excellent trading record that HRG is committed to assist in further developing.

ìOur partners within ICONS, based here in the UK and Asia, have developed excellent global relationships with many UK universities. By utilising their network of global offices and partners provide a first class service to the universities and candidates.

ìSeveral areas of the business complement HRG and we will be working over the coming months to add value to the existing business and ensure more is added by our UK national network of offices.î

Mr Parkinson continued: ìWe are all aware that the business globe is shrinking. This is also true for the mobilisation of students within higher education. ICONS will be looking to add additional universities to its existing portfolio and expand its international network of operations and partners.

ìThe combination of the ICONS team and HRG is a classic ëbest of both worldsí (BOB W) opportunity for all involved. The strength and experience of the Human Resource Group coupled with the innovated and entrepreneurial skills of the ICONS team really does offer the ëbest of both worldsí to this exciting and fast developing market.î
