To help companies meet their executive, managerial and professional diversity hiring goals, CareerJournal.com, The Wall Street Journalís executive career site; CollegeJournal.com, The Wall Street Journalís site for executive-track M.B.A. students and recent graduates; and Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based national executive-search firm, are holding a special Executive Diversity Career Opportunities Fair that will focus solely on executive diversity candidates.

The free event, featuring interviews with top companies seeking senior-level talent, free seminars and free resume critiques, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel New York City at the World Financial Center.

Top employers in a range of industries will attend. Preregistration for the fair is not required. All attendees, who must bring copies of their resume, can register on site the day of the event.

Free seminars throughout the day will cover such topics as interviewing, networking and negotiating more effectively. A free resume critique will be offered during the event as well.
