-

Former Head of Research Tim Elkington and Business Development Manager Alastair Cartwright have left the careers website Workthing to found Enhance Media Ltd. Enhance Media provide bespoke training and consultancy services, specialising in online recruitment and marketing, covering areas such as optimising recruitment campaigns and driving traffic to corporate websites.

In his time at Workthing, Tim Elkington pioneered the Online Recruitment & Employment Survey (ORES), the UKís largest piece of research into online recruitment and represented Workthing on the executive committee of the Association of Online Recruiters (AOLR). Alastair Cartwright was responsible for developing the HR content of the site and Workthingís commercial partnerships, applying the knowledge of the recruitment market he gained prior to Workthing at the consultancy Price Jamieson.

Commenting on the move, Tim Elkington said ìThere is spectacular growth in the UK online recruitment market, but despite this there is a large skills gap when it comes to applying the clear advantages that using the internet to recruit staff offers. Enhance Media will fill that gap and equip recruitment professionals with the skills they need to harness the full power of the internetî. More details of the training and services available from Enhance Media are available at www.enhancemedia.co.uk or by emailing info@enhancemedia.co.uk .
