Drake unbundles recruitment with innovative video interviews

.

Drake has officially launched a new unbundled recruitment service known as Drake Express, which uses innovative technology to present interactive video resumes of pre-screened candidates to employers via the internet.

Developed in Australia, the Drake Express concept has been in test phase for the past few months and has now been officially launched in the Sydney and Melbourne markets.
It involves pre-recorded interactive resumes profiling a wide range of Drake candidates which can be streamed to employers who register for the service.

Drake Express manager and developer of the system, Maarten Roosenburg, said the concept was designed to appeal to employers which traditionally didn’t use full-service outsourced recruitment agencies, but were prepared to pay a fee to avoid doing time-consuming pre-screening and first interviews themselves.

Roosenburg said ìDrake’s proprietary technology allowed it to capture candidate interviews and upload them to the database with minimal time and effort, and so far, candidates had been enthusiastic about the concept, particularly in candidate-rich marketsî.
