People management experts the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) today announced a programme of Spring workshops to give UK employers an insight into new employment legislation.
The Law on Tour workshops, entitled ’Fair Enough?’, will look at the new rules surrounding fair dismissals and disciplinary procedures that employers will be faced with from October 2004.
The course will provide personnel professionals with guidance and practical case studies on key issues facing HR managers. These include monitoring and enforce discipline and dismissal procedures, managing grievances and handle employees’ tribunal claims and complying with the new legal standards.
The workshops will begin at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm. They will be led by expert trainers in employment law and will take place at the following locations:
