Carlson companies choose Peopleclick for recruitment management

Selection Presents Opportunity for Carlson to Implement Total Workforce Acquisition through Peopleclick

Peopleclick, Inc., the leading total workforce acquisition provider for global enterprises, has announced that Carlson Companies, a global leader in the marketing, travel, and hospitality industries, has selected Peopleclick for its Recruitment Management System (Peopleclick RMS).

Carlson also uses Peopleclickís Affirmative Action (AA) Services and Vendor Management System (VMS) to coordinate its contingent staffing processes. The Peopleclick RMS selection extends the opportunity for Carlson to execute Total Workforce Acquisition (TWA). TWA integrates all elements of talent acquisition and measurement, allowing organisations to efficiently identify and place the best candidate.

TWA is a strategic goal with high value for many companies, but Carlson is a leader in taking the steps necessary to execute that strategy, comments Stephen A. Sasser, president and CEO of Peopleclick. We look forward to providing Carlson with tools to link the efforts of staffing and compliance, and meet the challenges of sourcing and retention.

As part of the initial RMS implementation, Peopleclick is working with Carlson to connect elements of its affirmative action reporting process with recruitment.

While the quick implementation, with its fast time-to-value, and scalability of RMS, were key factors in our selection, the potential to tie recruiting data from applicants to our AA reports is a strategic opportunity, said Jana Bertheaume, director of recruitment for Carlson Companies, whose brands and services employ about 190,000 around the globe. And the recruiting/affirmative action connection is only the first step.

Peopleclick RMS will help Carlson manage the 6,000 applicants that go through its recruiting process on a monthly basis. In 2005, Peopleclick plans to introduce a new platform that will incorporate salaried, hourly and contingent workers into one diverse talent pool, integrating all workforce-related processes and information.
