at London''s Olympia 3-4 November 2003

Job seekers needing a boost in the current climate should head for the forthcoming Careers and Jobs Live and theGRADfair being held at London''s Olympia. Whether you are a job seeker, graduate, career changer or school
leaver, there will be 1000''s of jobs up for grabs.

The careers event is an ideal way to meet face-to-face with prospective employers and give your job search an added edge. And this year is already proving to be bigger and better with many blue-chip names among the employers exhibiting including: Homebase, Barclays, Phones 4 U, Remit, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, Teacher Training, NHS, and Adult Learning Partnership at Careers and Jobs Live. In theGRADfair will be the Halifax, ACCA, Inland Revenue and Small Business Service.

Careers and Jobs Live and theGRADfair offer much more than the typical ''job shop'' exhibition. It covers every aspect of recruitment including careers, training and education, establishing itself as the number one recruitment event.

Job seeking needn''t be a daunting task as visitors to the show will find advice, help and support on hand from a whole host of organisations. It also enables people to meet exhibitors in person for an instant interview
and find out more about prospective jobs on offer, explained Bruce Birchall, Exhibition Director.

Admission is free, and features include a free CV clinic, seminars and face-to-face talks with a wide range of exhibitors - enabling visitors to learn from the experts first hand. New this year is the Jarvis Early
Registration Appointment System (ERAS). Via the show web site - www.jarvis-exhibitions.com visitors can pre-register to attend and book appointments for interviews with the employer of their choice. A prize draw from those registering on the ERAS will be held to win champagne and other prizes.

Careers and Jobs Live also provides My Personal Record of Achievement, a booklet available to the 15-18 year age group. It offers advice and help to users to think about and plan who to meet before arrival and write possible
questions to be asked - the booklet helps record this information. The booklet can be endorsed by exhibitors, and then included in a permanent record of achievement for future reference.

The Wall of Opportunity displays thousands of current job vacancies and training opportunities available now with the employer''s stand number for instant interviews. A preview of jobs available will be featured on the show web site.

Also present will be many universities and colleges with representatives on hand to explain the opportunities available in further education.

Some attendee advice; Think about what type of work you want, do your homework on any exhibitors you are particularly interested in talking to, dress smartly - first impressions count, bring plenty of CVs, fill in
application forms carefully on the day.
