Burger King issues a call for future leaders

Iconic Brand Launches Campaign To Recruit Top Talent To Fill 20 Positions At Its European Headquarter Locations

BURGER KING®, the second largest quick service restaurant chain in the world, is once again showing its support for future leaders as it launches this year’s campaign for its Leadership Development Programme. The iconic brand has announced that the application process is now open for top talent to fill 20 positions in the company’s European headquarter locations in Madrid, Spain; Munich, Germany; Slough, UK and Zug, Switzerland. Of those available, 5 positions will be based in the UK office.

The programme, with the goal to recruit the most prepared, driven professionals early in their careers, celebrates its second year in the UK. Last year, the programme recruited 5 professionals for jobs in departments such as marketing, business development, operations & human resources.

“BURGER KING® is always looking for talented, driven professionals that will help to grow our iconic brand around the world”, said Theo Camurça, People & IT Director for BURGER KING® EMEA. “As our brand and business grow, the Leadership Development Program provides recent graduates with new opportunities and challenges that will make a real difference in the company.  Furthermore, it provides us with a steady pipeline of potential leaders to drive our culture of meritocracy, ownership and excellence.”

The 2014 program received 7,518 applications from all over Europe. “We are proud of this number. It shows that BURGER KING® is valued as a great place to work and to grow,” added Camurça.
