The Bodes e-HR system covers the full performance management cycle from basic objective setting to assessing top and bottom performers and ’raising the bar’ with multi-source data. The Performance Management module also boosts staff retention by empowering employees to map their own career progression. With the Bodes e-HR system, succession planning is simple and available to everyone. Internal job opportunities are presented along with their associated skill and behavioral requirements. In addition, the ’stepping stones’ needed to gain the experience required are all presented clearly.

Anthony Carnell adds, Gone are the days of arrogant organisations thinking that they can dictate their employees’ careers. Senior guys sitting in a room behind closed doors with limited information and deciding the next roles for their key talent without even asking if that’s what they want, and then wondering why they leave the business. It is based partly on an outdated psychological contract which has a central theme based on loyalty, golden handcuffs and individuals fear of the external market. The entire Bodes e-HR system is built on the .NET framework, which means that is highly configurable and easily scalable. The system can be accessed via Web-delivered software, or it can be hosted on the client’s own hardware. Alternatively, Bodes IT can also act as an Application Service Provider, whereby the client uses a Web browser to access the software from the Bodes IT servers.
