Penna Consulting plc has appointed Bill McCarthy as Managing Director of Penna Sanders & Sidney to drive forward growth of the career consulting and outplacement business and underline the organisations standing as market leader.
Bill has been employed with Penna Sanders & Sidney since 1993. He joined the Board of the Company in 1996 as Director of Regions where he was instrumental in acquiring the KPMG Career Consulting business. Bill was promoted to the role of Penna Group Business Development Director in 2001 after successfully contributing to outstanding business growth during his four years on the Board.
From 2000 ñ 2002 he was also President of the European Industry''s professional body the AOCFI and still serves on the European Board as a Director.
Of his appointment Bill said:
