AOLR Comments on TopJobs

On hearing the news that Topjobs has gone into liquidation , Bill Shipton, Chair of the Association of Online Recruiters (AOLR) commented:

The failure of Topjobs is sad, but should not be seen as indicative of a wider demise in online recruiting. TopJobs is a victim, just as many offline recruiters are, of poor economic conditions. Online recruiters who see through the downturn will flourish because it remains the most efficient and effective way for companies to recruit.
