3-Way Blitz For PeopleBank - 05/2000

Television, Paper And Internet Advertising

PeopleBank, one of the longest established UK CV databases have adopted a 3 pronged strategy in association with shareholders Associated Newspapers and Carlton Communications. On Thursday 20 April, positions for Prt a Manger were advertised on PeopleBankís web site,
in the Metro and Evening Standard papers and on Carlton TV during a news slot watched by 5 million viewers.

Bill Shipton, PeopleBankís MD said The online recruitment market has taught us that it is more important to deliver exactly what employers want, rather than offering electronic solutions led by technological capabilities. Harnessing the Internet, press and television advertising means that employers can expect to be reviewing potential candidates within hours, as opposed to weeks. This integrated approach is set to revolutionise the
recruitment market where employers need a broad range of staff, and fast.

Bruce Robertson, Head of HR at Prt a Manger said, Today we have 93 Prtís and we will open over 20 new shops this year. With this constant requirement for new people we were particularly excited by PeopleBankís combined approach in terms of reaching potential
talent through new media channels as well as the more traditional methods. A major constraint to our growth is identifying and hiring quality people. PeopleBankís new integrated approach combined with its efficient screen and select systems were a must for us - itís quite simple, no-one else provides these services.
