reed.co.uk launches £50k+ site

Leading job board, reed.co.uk, has launched a new '£50k+' channel to match jobseekers to higher paying roles

Leading job board, reed.co.uk, has launched a new '£50k+' channel to match jobseekers to higher paying roles.

The new section features more than 8,500 permanent, contract and interim roles across 36 industry sectors, all paying a minimum of £50,000 a year.

Martin Warnes, Managing Director of reed.co.uk, comments:

With rising living costs and an economy still shaken by the financial turmoil of the last three years, jobseekers want to increase their earnings and it's no longer just senior management and executives who can command higher salaries.

From programmers to project managers, skilled and experienced workers across every sector are in demand, and employers are willing to pay a premium. By creating a dedicated area for vacancies paying upwards of £50,000, we can help match recruiters with the right candidates whatever the specialism.

All jobs advertised on reed.co.uk with an annual salary of £50,000 or more will automatically be featured within the new £50k+ area.

As well as featuring a number of the biggest companies currently recruiting at this level, the new section also gives recruiters the opportunity to target jobseekers with page takeover branding.

The new £50k+ initiative is being supported by additional marketing activity across a range of media, as well as a number of client incentives.

Warnes continues:

Whilst reed.co.uk continues to be the UK's most trafficked job board, ensuring we reach and meet the needs of candidates at every salary level is key to delivering the most effective service to all recruiters.

The new £50k+ page has already generated a significant increase in traffic: visits are up more than 800% on the ‘Management’ section it replaced.
