Advertising campaign to run across outdoor road and rail, radio and online

Monster UK & Ireland has today announced the launch of a cross-platform advertising campaign to increase brand awareness and attract existing and potential job seekers. Spanning across outdoor, radio and online, the campaign draws on the proliferation of corporate jargon in the workplace. The campaign launches on the 14 November and will be live until 27 November.

The media makeup consists of outdoor premium sites targeting commuters using both road and rail, drive time radio advertising and online banners. The road and rail adverts will be situated in London, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin including all Mainline Train stations. Radio will support the activity in London, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol and Dublin, using the leading FM channels focused on morning and evening drive time.

The campaign aims to connect with jobseekers, encouraging them to evaluative their current employment status and direct them to the Monster site which provides guidance and opportunities to help develop their career.

David Henry, Marketing Director for Monster UK & Ireland says: “Job seekers often find themselves battling against an increasingly confusing world of corporate jargon and complex application processes. This campaign takes a slightly esoteric and wry approach using eye-catching and often ridiculous workplace phrases and metaphors to grab the attention of job seekers, using high impact media position. Creating a moment for people to reflect on their personal circumstances, encouraging them to take control, the campaign is bold and attention grabbing and at its heart very empathetic, Monster can then act as a guide to help connect potential job seekers with a new direction.”
