Matchtech, the technical recruitment specialist, has launched a brand new website this week

Matchtech, the technical recruitment specialist, has launched a brand new website this week.

They conducted an extensive research project evaluating some of the latest technologies along with other recruitment websites on the market to ensure that the site makes the job application process as simple as possible for the candidate.

 

The aim of the site is to become the number 1 website for technical jobs. The site is already the first result in google when searching for “Technical Jobs” but the aim is to be the number 1 result in all of their niche sectors.

 

The new Matchtech.com combines all the great features from the existing site with the most up-to-date web technologies to enhance the browsing experience for all users. It is simple to use and more relevant to the user, so both job-seekers and clients can find exactly what they’re looking for.  Clients have a full brochure site that outlines Matchtech’s capabilities and services, whilst candidates can navigate to CV tips, search for jobs and more.

 

New features include:

  • Job suggestions- when looking at a vacancy, other relevant roles will be displayed allowing candidates to easily find similar vacancies. This takes into account what other candidates have also applied for
  • The ability to share niche job searches- candidates can now search on a particular skill, in a set location and salary/rate and then save this search as an RSS feed or share it via a wide range of social media channels such as Facebook or Twitter
  • Fast Apply-allows candidates to apply for a job without having to go through the registration process. Fast Apply makes job application on the go much simpler
  • Skill Cloud-  featured on the home page of the new site, the skill cloud gives job-seekers quick access to popular fields of work
  • Featured Projects- new microsites for some of the most exciting projects across the whole of the UK, including a list of vacancies that Matchtech offer for projects such as the Olympics
  • Featured Recruiters- new branded microsites for over 75 of the high profile clients that Matchtech are working with, including quick links to their vacancies
  • In depth career advice pages- providing the candidate with an essential toolkit for finding their ideal role, including networking tips, interview and CV tips
  • Links to all our niche social media groups- you can now visit Matchtech on a range of social media sites including Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook, keeping users informed of the latest job vacancies, industry news and advice as well as event and networking opportunities

 

Matchtech has been operating in the Engineering, Construction, Science & Medical and Information Systems & Technology sectors for over 27 years. Their long standing background in these fields means they really understand their sectors and what it their customers are looking for in a recruitment website.  Combined with an extensive research project evaluating other recruitment websites on the market, further analysis enabled us to ensure the new site is equipped with the best features and latest technology.

Prize Draw Rules

1. Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of Matchtech Group PLC, its advisers and agents and others connected with the organisation of this promotion.

2. Participants will receive an entry to the prize draw by responding to the survey entry to the draw is free and no purchase is necessary.

3. The prizes for the prize draw are 1st prize £250 Red Letter Day gift vouchers and 3 runners up prizes of a box of wine.

4. The winner will be the first entry drawn at random by an adjudicator and runners up, the next three entries drawn.

5. Winners will be notified of their prize within 30 of days of the draw date and details of winners will be advertised on the website following the draw.

6. Prizes will be forwarded to winners within 90 days.

7.  The judges' decision is final.

8. Matchtech Group PLC reserves the right to substitute any prizes with a prize of equivalent or higher value in the event of circumstances arising outside of their control. There is no cash alternative.
