JobServe.com has today revealed its new homepage, along with a fresh new job search interface for candidates, and a revamped job posting mechanism for advertisers.

Les Powell, General Manager (Product & Service Delivery) said “JobServe is the preferred job board of many because it gets ‘straight-to-the-point’. In designing our new homepage we have remained true to our values. Our candidates want to find jobs, and our advertisers want to find candidates. Our role is one of a broker, easing the online recruitment process as best we can.”

Les continued, “We have always resisted turning our homepage into a ‘flashing billboard’. Our new styling gives JobServe a fresh and welcoming feel, without side-tracking users from their aim when visiting the site.

From when it was first launched, JobServe’s job search has been written with the candidate in mind. Our ‘best match’ technology ensures that we present our candidates with the jobs that are most relevant to them. Unlike some other job boards, we vehemently resist allowing any other factor to influence the order in which jobs are displayed to candidates. This ensures the best experience for our candidates and, in turn, quality relevant applications for our advertisers.

Our new job search is still based upon our powerful foundation search technology, but brings both a new, clean, intuitive interface, along with some additional ‘power search’ options.

This latest release makes it even easier for our candidates to find jobs relevant to them. As well as offering industry based searching, candidates can now slice our jobs horizontally by searching on categories such as ‘graduate’, ‘public sector’ and ‘executive’.”

Commenting on the re-vamped Job posting interface, Wendy Cowell, Global Online Sales & Business Development Manager, said “For any job board, the ability for advertisers to quickly and easily post jobs is one of the most important features. Our fresh new job posting interface works for everyone – guiding new users through the posting process, whilst allowing more experienced users to add-a-job quickly and efficiently

JobServe’s new job posting interface also brings several exciting new products with it. We have restructured our featured job product, and have also introduced international featured jobs – a new offering whereby our advertisers can promote their jobs to overseas applicants.

Especially useful to our ‘quick post’ advertisers is the ability to purchase CV credits at the same time as posting a job. This means that, not only can customers advertise their job to our audience of quality candidates, but they can start searching the CVs of those candidates immediately.

Furthermore, through our membership of the Jobg8 partner network, our advertisers can opt to increase that reach even further and maximize the number of candidates viewing their jobs.”

Wendy concluded, “Many of the changes we have made in this release have come from listening to feedback from our advertisers and candidates. We greatly value the feedback we receive, and I would welcome views on our latest release and how we can improve it even further.”
