Hays Specialist Recruitment Japan K.K. (“Hays Japan”) today announces the launch of its Shinjuku office, as part of Hays Japan’s continuing growth and as a reflection of its confidence in the local job market. With this launch, Hays Japan now operates in Akasaka and Shinjuku in Tokyo, and covers the Kansai region from its Osaka office. Hays Japan is the first and only foreign recruitment company to operate three Japan offices and offer direct Shinjuku service.
The Shinjuku office accommodates a bi-lingual team of thirty-five consultants, and is headed by one of Hays Japan’s most experienced senior managers, Adrian Jones. Initially, the Shinjuku team will offer specialisms spanning Accountancy and Finance, Sales and Marketing, IT, Office Professionals and Human Resources, and is set to develop to meet additional needs.

Hays Japan chose Shinjuku as its third location to meet increasing demand from existing clients and to better pursue opportunities for further expansion within Tokyo. From Shinjuku, Hays directly serves the needs of clients and candidates in the Western part of the city - spanning Shinjuku, Yokohama and Kawasaki. The office also offers access to Shinjuku Station, which is one of the busiest train stations in the world, used by millions everyday.
The Shinjuku launch is representative of Hays worldwide prioritizing operating as close to clients and candidates as possible in order to best meet their needs. Using this model in Sydney, Hays expanded from a single office to ten locations over a ten year period. Further locations are anticipated in Japan.
