Confused.com enters the recruitment market

Confused.com partners with MyJobMatcher.com to create new brand: ‘Confused.com JobSmart’

Confused.com was the first UK car insurance comparison site and now becomes the first UK insurance comparison site to offer job searches.

Confused.com has launched a new partnership with MyJobMatcher.com to offer customers a simple and efficient way of searching for jobs. MyJobMatcher.com helps users save time and hassle by matching people to jobs, bringing the principals of Confused.com to the world of job hunting.

Confused.com’s comparison service makes it easy for customers to compare car insurance and through the new relationship with MyJobMatcher.com, it now makes job hunting easier too through the launch of Confused.com JobSmart.

Confused.com JobSmart is an extension of the Confused.com mission, which is to make customers’ lives easier. The ease by which customers can get relevant jobs back from Confused.com JobSmart underpins this. By using Confused.com JobSmart, users will be introduced to more than 300,000 jobs UK-wide and will be able to select those jobs which meet their search criteria.

It takes about 30 seconds to sign up to Confused.com JobSmart and in doing so, a user’s CV is matched to jobs from all the best and leading job boards in the UK. Users can then view and apply for any of the matched jobs that take their fancy and can even refine the results returned by adding key word filters like location or a skill set.

Confused.com JobSmart powered by MyJobMatcher is updated on a daily basis, adding thousands of new jobs from the UK’s market leading and specialist job boards and covering just about every role possible: from customer service to sales. To offer further assistance to the job-seeker, daily email alerts will also be sent, but only jobs which match their selected job criteria.

Confused.com JobSmart allows users to see what jobs are out there, helping the people get the job that they want through the touch of a button.

MD of MyJobMatcher, Chris Smith said: “Working with Confused.com is a significant milestone for us in terms of brand awareness. By introducing Confused.com JobSmart to their users, we expect to build greater awareness among job seekers and importantly the key driver of its business namely making a difference to people through saving them time, effort and hassle very much supports what MyJobMatcher is all about.

Nic Weng Kan, Chief Executive Officer, at Confused.com said: “Making customers’ lives easy is at the heart of Confused.com, we’ve been making it easy to compare and save on car insurance for over ten years. The ease with which customers can get relevant jobs back from “Confused.com JobSmart” complements this, especially in this tough economic climate, and it’s completely free for job-seekers to use.”
