CareerPlayer.com, a market leading graduate advice website, has become the first in the UK to win a prestigious Webby award in the graduate sector

CareerPlayer.com, a market leading graduate advice website, has become the first in the UK to win a
prestigious Webby award in the graduate sector. All the more impressive when
you consider they were recognised with the same award for their online video
production last year.

Announcing the award, executive director of the Webbys David-Michel
Davies described it as an outstanding accomplishment for the team.

The Webby Awards are the Internet's most respected symbol of success,
with the BBC pronouncing them as the most prestigious internet award in the
world. The 15th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from all 50
US states and over 60 countries worldwide.

Winners are chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts &
Sciences, a global organisation whose members include director Darren
Aronofsky, Martha Stewart, Huffington Post Media Group President Arianna
Huffington, Twitter Co-Founder Biz Stone, musician David Bowie, and Internet
co-creator Vint Cerf, Virgin Group Chairman Richard Branson, and R/GA Chairman
and CEO Bob Greenberg.

On hearing the news Rob Wescott, one of CareerPlayer's founders, said
We're so proud that www.careerplayer.com has been recognised in such prestigious circles. It gives huge
credibility to our product which we know is having an enormous impact, both on
the way careers advice is delivered to students and the way employers attract
the best candidates by engaging them early.
