A IT company that was named amongst the top four provider in the world in its specialism by Microsoft has launched its own training academy for graduates and school leavers to tackle the growing demand for IT skills.

Azzure IT, which provides firms with state of the art Microsoft software tools to improve business processes, productivity and profitability, has developed the Azzure Dynamics Academy. The company is a specialist in providing Microsoft Dynamics NAV – Microsoft’s business management system.

Supporting talent at both graduate and apprenticeship level, the Azzure Dynamics Academy will help young people establish their IT careers in a range of areas, including development, customer support, consultancy and office-based sales.

The programme has been designed to support Azzure IT’s ongoing high growth and future-proof the business by ensuring it is constantly training up its own pool of top talent in-house.

The new scheme enables recruits to access training whilst gaining experience working within the UK’S leading Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner. Training includes a combination of classroom training, mentoring, online training through the Dynamics Learning Portal and on-the-job training.

Craig Such, MD at Azzure IT, explains: “A career in IT offers fantastic opportunities for the right candidates, and we’re eager to support those who show the right skills and attitude to succeed.

“IT is an industry that constantly needs more skills so rather than be at the mercy of others, we thought the time was right to secure our future by investing in the next generation of IT specialists. We’re looking for talented people from a range of backgrounds and skillsets to join us, and not necessarily people who already have extensive knowledge in IT. We want bright, ambitious people with the desire and potential to develop a successful career.”

Tom Brown joined the Azzure Dynamics Academy as apprentice developer.

Tom added: “Being part of a growing company like Azzure IT is the perfect way to start my career. I’m being paid whilst following a clear, focused training scheme and getting valuable work experience along the way. It’s a great way to get established in a job that has real long term opportunities.”

Azzure IT was recently named one of the four best providers of Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in the world by Microsoft. The company beat off competition from 2300 tech firms across the globe to be named a finalist in Microsoft's 2015 Partner of the Year Awards.
