Actonomy to launch xMP ëempowered searchí, the search platform that has learned from recruiters and<br />candidates

Actonomy, the Belgium based software provider of HRM search technology, announced the release of its xMP ‘empowered search’. xMP empowered search is a powerful search technology that analyses, understands search queries and delivers superior results compared to results of standard search engines. Actonomy xMP empowered search is based on the unique Actonomy HRM ontology (knowledge base) containing millions of HRM related concepts such as functions, skills, educations and this knowledge allows xMP to make its own decisions while searching. If a user is searching for a ‘business developer’, xMP empowered search will know what this means and will even have the knowledge to search for similar concepts within the ‘career cluster’.

‘Our xMP empowered search is unique as it is the only solution based on such a rich knowledge base’, says Filip De Geijter, CEO Actonomy. ‘This knowledge has been acquired through recruiters and candidates and captured in a so called semantic network. Thanks to this knowledge, the system is ‘empowered’ to deliver the best possible matches with your search keywords’.

Actonomy xMP empowered search is an advanced version of the Actonomy semantic search and match technology and does not only offer zero ambiguity (no false results will appear in the result list) but also much faster results.

Actonomy xMP empowered search is available as a toolkit for rapid integration in job boards, recruitment service platforms and recruitment solutions used by staffing agencies or corporate customers. By using web service interfaces, indexing, searching and matching becomes easy and is possible from virtually any software environment. Part of the toolkit is also a graphical tool that visualises the analyses done by xMP and how the results lists are calculated.
