PageGroup, the specialist recruitment company, has announced two new Operating Director appointments.
Marcus Johnson has been promoted to Operating Director for Michael Page Finance, part of PageGroup. Coming from a services background, Marcus joined the company in 2007 as a consultant in Michael Page Finance and was promoted to Manager in 2009 for East Reading. In 2011, he took over responsibility for the East and West businesses in Reading, delivering record-breaking results.
In his new role as Operating Director, Marcus will be managing Michael Page Finance teams in Chiswick and Reading.
Peter Simmonds has been promoted to operating director of Michael Page & Page Personnel Logistics, part of PageGroup. Peter began his career at PageGroup in 2004 and managed Michael Page Procurement and Supply Chain across Yorkshire. In 2006 he opened up the Sheffield office for Michael Page and later transferred to Michael Page Logistics in 2013 where he continued the growth of his career.
In his new role as operating director of Michael Page and Page Personnel Logistics, Peter will be focusing on both permanent and interim recruitment and will managing the Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester offices, covering the North & East Midlands of England.
