Don't be a thermostat

Recruiters are focusing on a problem that doesn’t need to be solved anymore. Any kid with a LinkedIn account can find candidates. Focussing on finding candidates is like focussing on Joan Collins, great in the 80’s but irrelevant today. Even, thermostats are using machine learning to learn more and more about your environment. Now, recruiters should be persuading the smartest minds of their generation to quit their jobs at Google, Facebook and thermostat companies to do something that actually matters: Predict candidates that are five times better than average.
