Speakers:
Ann O’Leary, Head of Register Development
Lila Dowie, Dowie, Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager

Anthony Nolan was the first donor recruitment register in the world and is the last hope for patients with blood cancers like leukaemia.

Things have come a long way since the charity was founded in 1974, when our records were all hand-filed on index cards.

Forty years on, the science behind how we recruit donors, the algorithms we use to match them to patients and, crucially, how we communicate them is both fascinating and complex.

We’ll share with you:

- Our successes and methods as the UK’s first and largest donor recruiter.
- How we track and measure the impact of individuals and campaigns
- Plus our challenges and learnings in an increasingly data-centric, mobile world.
