Speaker Bio

Mark Sadovnick is the CEO and President of Sadovnick Partners, an executive search firm that recruits high-caliber management talent for growth-oriented hiring organizations from offices in Los Angeles, Miami and Toronto.

A seasoned recruiter with more than 23 years’ experience in executive search, Mark has earned a reputation for developing close relationships with his clients’ senior leadership teams to understand their goals, business challenges and unique market opportunities, thereby giving him the currency to truly represent them in the marketplace.

Towards that objective, Mark has now also taken the helm as CEO of Corp Shorts, a company uniquely specializing in short content video productions. The combined expertise and resources of both the search practice and Corp Shorts, yields his clients – both corporations and individuals - the ability to brand themselves in the most effective and innovative ways, utilizing multiple video and mobile media technologies. He is especially focused on the revolutionary Video Resumes and “ZoomRez.com”, due to the great research feedback and the future growth and value in the marketplace.

Mark has worked closely with many middle-market companies, as well as larger corporations across the US and Canada, advising them about what it takes to be recognized as a preferred employer and how the recruitment of exceptional management candidates can impact their financial results as well as the image of the organization. Prior to founding Sadovnick Partners, Mark had been a Senior Partner with another boutique search firm.

Previously, he was the Executive Director of Jaycees International, gaining outstanding global experience and contacts. He built a solid foundation at Touche Ross in Montreal and Toronto working with major clients in audit, tax and valuation. He also had corporate experience with the largest private real estate developer in Canada. This background enables Mark to understand the corporate environment, what type of individual may be the best fit, and most importantly, how to attract the best talent for the client, not just the best available at the time.

Mark is on the Board of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, and been active in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale Chambers of Commerce, Take Stock in Children, and sports and entertainment projects worldwide, among other organizations over the years. He is a Chartered Accountant, and graduated from McGill University in Montreal. Mark is married to Liz, and has three sons.

The Emergence of Video Resumes, and Corporate Video Branding
Video Technologies To Attract The Best, Not Just The Best Available At The Time.

Taking advantage of new and emerging technologies can give your company, and your clients and candidates, the advantage to drive business performance. Recruiters and Search firms everywhere are always faced with the challenge of finding the best talent for their clients. Companies – Senior management in HR, and all disciplines – balance the time needed to review backgrounds and select quality candidates, and especially not be in hope that they pick the right person (or miss picking the best person). Individuals are similarly challenged to ensure they are recognized and known, presented in their own distinct way, and contacted for the best opportunities when they arise. Time is always a factor, as everyone is busy. Travel takes time and money, even more these days with the cost of fuel. Ensuring that your time and money are managed effectively is an absolute necessity. Nobody wants to waste either on candidates who are not at all right or even just not a fit for the particular search; or, for that matter, on recruiters who are not reputable or do not have the access or contacts needed for the opportunity you seek. There needs to be a differentiation, innovation, utilizing the expertise of relationship building, search and video technologies. This session will bring all of these together. It will allow you to become part of a new era in corporate and individual branding and recruitment.
