Speaker Bio Ian has been with o2 for 4 years and he has over 17 years HR experience gained with such companies as Honeywell, Siemens and Cisco Systems. Ian holds a BA (Hons) in Government from the University of Essex and an MSc (Econ) in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the London School of Economics. He has also completed an Executive Development Programme at the Said Business School, University of Oxford. Key Responsibilities: Ian and his team deliver a broad range of HR services to the o2 UK business, helping bring the o2 People Promise to life. He leads an HR business partner team, who through alignment with the business divisions, drive HR interventions in support of the overall HR and business strategy. Additional responsibilities include the management of an HR BPO service via Accenture and the provision of a resourcing framework and strategy that ensures o2 attracts and hires the best and broadest range of talent. Ian is the UK business sponsor for the recent implementation of an Oracle HR ERP solution called “CHORUS” providing for manager and employee HR self-service at o2 UK including a new recruitment platform called iRecruit.
