CV-Library partners with Google on new job searching feature

Leading independent job board, CV-Library, has today announced its partnership with Google on the company’s new job search experience in the UK.

CV-Library was one of the first UK job boards to do so; meaning people searching for jobs on Google will see vacancies advertised by CV-Library clients, as soon as they’re posted.

The new search experience will bring together job postings from across the web, whether they're on websites run by businesses, or job sites, such as CV-Library. This means that when a candidate searches for a job via Google with a relevant query, vacancies posted on CV-Library will appear in Google’s job search experience and they would then click through to CV-Library’s website to apply.

Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library comments on the partnership: “We’re extremely excited to be a part of the launch of this new jobs search experience in the UK. As a business, we’re passionate about connecting great employers with top talent and this development will certainly strengthen our position in doing so.”

The new job search experience is now live and follows a successful launch of the job search experience on Google in the US. Organisations are encouraged to use accurate, clear information in their job postings, to help match interested candidates to their vacancies.

Biggins continues:As the programme starts to ramp up in the UK, we’re looking forward to seeing what the results are like and the feedback we’ll receive from clients. We take pride in our unique traffic strategy, which ensures that application rates remain high and that we continue to attract a high calibre of candidates to our site.”
