Effective Online PR Are Helping Companies Attract Better Talent

Recruitment is a two-way process. Companies may be trying to sort through candidates to find the best possible person for a position, but candidates are also actively choosing the companies they apply to based on a number of factors.

The company’s brand value and reputation are among the things that encourage potential candidates to apply for a position with a company. More importantly, candidates now turn to the internet to find out more about the companies they are applying to.

A recent study by George Washington University and its online public relations program revealed that online PR is an effective way of developing strong brand value and credibility. Online PR is also very measurable, making it easy to keep track of key metrics such as sentiment, items and engagement. This means companies that run effective online PR campaigns have a higher chance of recruiting the best talent on the market.
