Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software Again Awarded a Place on Public Sector G-Cloud Agreement - Wins New Clients

Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software has once again been awarded a place on public sector G-Cloud framework agreement with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), following a stringent re-tendering process.

The company has already won clients through its place on the G-Cloud 6 framework in 2015 - one of whom is Trinity House, a charity dedicated to safeguarding shipping and seafarers.    The framework - let by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) - is a multi-supplier vehicle for the purchase of cloud-based IT services, by public bodies in central government and across the wider public sector.  It is available for use by contracting bodies throughout the whole of the UK, including Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) acts on behalf of the Crown to drive savings for the taxpayer and improve the quality of commercial and procurement activity.  The newly-awarded place is on the G-Cloud 8 Framework Agreement RM1557viii – Lot 3, Software as a Service (SaaS).

Vacancy Filler was first awarded its place on the G-Cloud 6 framework in February 2015.  As this expired at the end of July 2016, existing vendors on this framework had to re-tender for the G-Cloud 8.  This now has to be re-tendered for annually, and G-Cloud 8 will expire on 28 July 2017.

Tony Brookes, Sales Director, Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software, said, “We are very pleased that once again this year,  Vacancy Filler’s  cloud-based recruitment software will be listed in the CCS digital marketplace where suppliers offer their services to the public sector via the G-Cloud framework.  Public sector bodies can review and buy these services through the Digital Marketplace without themselves having to go to tender.  And we are delighted to have already won several clients through our listing in this marketplace.”

Since cloud computing allows organisations to access internet-based computing, rather than investing heavily in their own hardware and software, there are a number of advantages to purchasing products in this way.  These include the ability to:-

  • avoid long contracts
  • buy the exact amount of computing resources required
  • save money on maintenance and physical storage
  • avoid custom-built solutions which take a long time to create, are expensive and difficult to upgrade.

The supplier offerings are made available on a government portal called the Digital Marketplace where buyers find and compare cloud services listed on the G-Cloud framework.  Vacancy Filler’s entry is listed here:-
