Secretarial job hunters favour guardianjobs.co.uk14/01/2009 11:45:00Secretarial job seekers said they think guardianjobs.co.uk is more effective than any other jobs site, including monster.co.uk, reed.co.uk and secsinthecity.com. The survey also found that the Guardian is more popular with secretarial job hunters than any other national newspaper, the Evening Standard or the Metro and that they consider it to be more effective. Whilst press remains a key part of the secretarial job hunting experience for permanent staff (half think it is as, or more, effective than online sources), 70% of temps surveyed feel that the internet is more effective – reflecting the medium’s particular suitability for advertising last-minute or short term positions.
