s1jobs.com – now with fancy bits

15/09/2008 09:58:00

Scotland’s leading recruitment site, s1jobs.com, has been given a major facelift. As well as a striking new design, beneath the surface the new site introduces a host of enhanced features for job seekers and recruiters.

Registered users can now personalise the s1jobs home-page to display job alerts and stored jobs. Plus the introduction of drag and drop functionality now allows the My Account page to be fully customised. We’ve also made it easier to set up job alerts by email, RSS or SMS, while browsing search results now takes less time than ever.

For recruiters, there are bigger and better advertising opportunities. The traditional banner ad has been upgraded to leaderboard size and featured employer buttons are not only 50% bigger but can now be targeted to specific core skills.

Mark Smith, s1 Managing Director said, “The new s1jobs raises the bar for recruitment sites in terms of both design and functionality. It’s the culmination of many months’ research and development and demonstrates our continued commitment to innovation. Of course, innovation is only worthwhile if it’s usable, accessible and offers genuine benefits and value for customers. We believe the new site delivers that in spades, and will further consolidate our market-leading position.”

The launch is supported by a major advertising campaign, running throughout Scotland in September and October on TV, press, outdoor and online.

s1jobs launched in January 2001 and immediately became the leading recruitment website in Scotland. It now attracts over half a million users per month. More than 2,000 businesses – including Scotland’s top 5 PLCs – recruit through the site.
