Growing trend for niche job websites proven by success of Simply’s sites19/06/2007 10:23:00Simplysalesjobs.co.uk has seen applications rise by 30% and CV registrations increase by 20% on January this year. For Simplymarketingjobs.co.uk the site has recorded its highest level of applications since October 2006 and Simplyhrjobs.co.uk has recorded an increase of 36% on applications and 10% on registrations. Ian Partington, managing director for Simply Online Services says: “We are really pleased with the recent figures for our websites, especially as they’re even higher than those for January, which is traditionally the busiest month for the recruitment industry. “It helps prove that not only are an increasing number of people going online to find their new job, but they are also choosing to use niche websites for their specialist industry. “These record figures are largely due to our rankings on Google, which has us as number one for the most popular phrase on many of the sites. “All of this is great news for our clients, with more applications delivering a wider choice of people to choose from to fill their vacancies. ![]() “It also shows them that if they want to fill a vacancy in a particular industry then it pays to use a niche jobs website.” In April this year Simply Online Services launched their fourth niche jobs website – Simplynewmediajobs.co.uk. Despite being relatively new, this site already has over one thousand vacancies. onrec.com news can only be reproduced with the permission of onrec.com or if onrec.com is attributed as the source.
