Topaz EMS Increases Appeal

Topaz will be launching enhancements for its integrated Topaz EMS payroll and HR software at Softworld.

A significant number of additional features and upgrades for Topaz EMS (Employee Management System) will be presented by the Topaz team on Stand AF312 during the two day Softworld show at Birmingham NEC on October 18 and 19 - including a full Establishment Budgeting/Manpower Planning facility.

The new functionality has been developed to create the ideal budgeting establishment structure in terms of manpower and costs – with the ability to drive recruitment for increased growth and profitability.

Year on year budgeting can also be created easily to provide comparisons with previous years, while the software produces a wealth of analysis and reporting from detailed post histories. Topaz EMS also has new developments for –

· Dashboard Management (Graphical Reporting)
· Enhanced Recruitment
· Additional HR Reports
· Absence and Lateness
· Employee Self Service

The Dashboard Management frees up time with up-to-the-minute reporting functions without having to write reports. The dashboard views including graphs, bar and pie charts covering key areas like headcount, attendance and diversity with analysis by the business structure.

Enhanced Recruitment provides full automation of the recruitment process with new features such as a ‘Campaign Diary’ - allowing users to monitor selected individuals during their progress through the complete recruitment cycle. The recruitment campaigns are also totally reportable and automated to provide a fast and efficient fully audited process.

A significant library of user defined reports has been upgraded with additional HR Reports for ‘Training Attendance’, ‘Planned Training’, ‘Sickness Statistics’, ‘Training Statistics’, ‘Sickness Certificate’, ‘Recruitment Costs’ and ‘Training Needs Analysis’.

Topaz has also developed new Absence and Lateness procedures to now include automatic email notification of absence and lateness in accordance with company policy profiles to ensure fast and timely resource management.

Meanwhile, the practical Employee Self Service facilities – which produce dramatic timesavings and ease the workloads of payroll and HR staff - have been enhanced with ‘Time Sheet Entry’ and Creation’, ‘Senior Level Expense Review’, ‘Employee Controlled Bank Details Change’ and ‘Published Documents’.
