“Owners of growing businesses are always on the lookout for simple, no-nonsense ways to improve their profit and their marketing” says Robert Craven, the expert on growing businesses.
“The trouble” says Craven, “is that most courses and books are not designed with the owner-manager of the small business in mind… or alternatively they are not focused on the profit and marketing results that the owner-manager seeks”.
Barclays Bank have teamed up with Robert Craven in a unique attempt go and talk to the UK’s small businesses and help them to become more profit- and more customer-focused. The programme title is “Let’s Talk…” and two workshops are “Let’s Talk… Bright Marketing” and “Let’s Talk More Profit”.
These unique events are being hosted by Barclays. As a result of the bank’s involvement, delegates are able to attend for free (and the standard ticket price should be £225!).
John Davis, marketing director for local business at Barclays says, "These seminars will help small businesses reap serious short and long-term rewards. Our research shows that eight in 10 small business owners want to dedicate more time to developing the business; this seminar will certainly help delegates to do exactly that and focus on building a successful and profitable business."
The seminar has been developed by Barclays and is being delivered by the leading business expert Robert Craven, author of best-selling books, ’Customer Is King’ and ‘Kick-Start Your Business’; he has been referred to as ’the entrepreneurship guru’ by the Financial Times.
Robert Craven, who will be delivering the workshops, says, "The workshops are a brilliant opportunity to step back, think about who you are trying to sell to and what it is that they need, so that you can start to make decisions that will fundamentally improve the marketing and the profitability of your business. These events are lively, interactive and, believe it or not, great fun to attend!".
