What are the similarities and in what way do job markets differ across Europe? To answer this question,Jobfeed publishes an infographic laying out side-by-side key data gathered in the first quarter of 2015 in Germany, France and the Netherlands. The results presented here are based on the analysis of millions of jobs posted online and collected by Jobfeed between 1 January and 31 March 2015 in the 3 countries.

Jobfeed is the Big Data tool for jobs of Textkernel, which collects, analyses and categorises all online jobs in Germany, France and the Netherlands and makes them available through a searchable online database.

The main findings of this three-country comparison are:

  • The share of part-time jobs in the Netherlandsis twice as big as it is in Germany and France.
  • The trade/retail sector recruits the most in France and the Netherlands, whilst manufacturing leads in Germany.
  • The share of part-time jobs is shrinking in Germany, while it is growing in France and the Netherlands.
