Figures from the Staffordshire based company show that the number of job vacancies, advertised via its software, increased by 23% in 2015 compared to the previous year. Managing Director at Recruitive, Richard Clarke comments: “The increase suggests that UK companies are experiencing a period of growth which is great news for the UK job market which is recovering well from the 2008 financial crisis.”
The recruitment software provider is also reporting an 18% increase in the average number of candidate applications received per job vacancy. Richard says: “The increase suggests that more people are looking to move jobs and this is great news for employers as it means they can be more selective over who they choose to join their business.”
Richard continues: “The higher volume of applications has lead to an increase in the number of companies looking for help with the administration work involved within the candidate management process. Our software is helping some of the UK’s leading employers to reduce the manual process by as much as 60%, saving them both time and money.”
