People4business.com is building the broadest freelance skills resource website in the UK – in total the company has identified a taxonomy of 5,500 marketable skills across 12 industry sectors. Registration is free and sellers control their hourly rates and availability from their personal home-page. People4business applies a fixed (and industry-beating) 10% margin to the seller's chosen rate, and from this margin also pays a 2% 'Finder's Fee' for other sellers and buyers introduced to the site.
