The
Tarsus Group today announced the acquisition of corporate recruiting conference,
website, content, and database media assets from Kennedy Information, a
division of the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA).

As part of this acquisition, Tarsus now owns RecruitingTrends.com, the
online resource providing leading edge insight and strategies for recruiting
professionals. With over 34,000 weekly readers of the online newsletter, and
growing visitors to the website, this acquisition is a solid complement to a
growing cluster at Tarsus focused on recruiting,
talent management, and HR in the United States.

Also included in the acquisition is Kennedy's Recruiting Conference and Expo, an
industry tradeshow that over the last decade has served as a hub for more than
10,000 attendees who have gathered to learn about changing recruiting
technologies and best practices in the industry.

This is a great time in the business cycle to be planting seeds for
growth, says RD Whitney, CEO of Tarsus Online Media in the United States.
We are in a good position to leverage our growing, global footprint and
diverse media portfolio to take advantage of the improving economic
outlook.

Tarsus
now operates several growing media properties focused on recruiting, talent
management, and HR including: Online Recruitment Magazine, Onrec.com, Onrec
Expo, TalentManagementTech.com (TMT), and the RetentionInstitute.com, launched
earlier this year. It’s part of an organic growth and bolt-on media asset
strategy, says Whitney. We are building a portfolio of products and
services to support the HR and recruiting function in corporations -- just at
the time they are reconstructing.

Onrec and Kennedy Information worked together earlier this year to produce a
joint conference in Chicago
which attracted over 500 registrants and featured a bustling expo hall. At the
show, companies such as GE, Motorola, Wal-Mart, BASF, Saudi Aramco, Dell,
Reebok, Genentech, and General Mills learned about the latest online recruiting
technologies and techniques.

The acquisition helps to bring additional gravitas to the
annual expo in Chicago
(planned for September 15-16, 2010). In addition, Online Recruitment Magazine
and Onrec.com are launching a full redesign later this year in order to take
advantage of global economic recovery and subsequent improvement in recruiting.
