Women occupy less than a quarter of UK board positions - Response comment

Geoff Pearce, Managing Consultant at NGA Human Resources

"Board gender imbalances cannot be solved with a simple quick fix. This problem starts from the bottom up which means companies must continually review and develop the gender balance within their organisation. If you have these differences in the position of women in the workforce it not only affects opportunity but the gender pay gap.

To truly address this problem and ensure gender parity at every level, companies must nurture a culture of diversity if they are to make any meaningful progress and ensure women are properly recognised and rewarded in the workplace.”
