Year of success sees Search Consultancy named as one of Scotland’s top performing businesses

Leading recruitment company Search Consultancy has been named amongst the country’s best performing businesses.

Search Consultancy climbed 56 places to 124th in this year’s prestigious SME 500 table following a year in which the company’s growth reached 27 per cent.

The league table, which measures the performance of Scottish headquartered companies with turnover of more than £20m, named Search as Scotland’s top performing recruitment company.

Companies included in the SME 500 are ranked by a combination of turnover and pre-tax profits.

Simone Lockhart, Search Consultancy’s Managing Director, Scotland, said: “Climbing to such a high position in the SME 500 table reflects the persistent work the whole Search UK team has undertaken to make this one of our best ever years.

“Our current success is built on the work of those who have spent many years building the company’s reputation for providing a first class service.

“It is imperative that we strive to build on this success and the whole team remains dedicated to continually improving our existing services and developing new services”

It comes just two months after Simone was honoured at the prestigious Customer Contact Association (CCA) awards in recognition of her achievements in promoting excellence in customer service.

She was one of just six women to be presented with a Women in Leadership award at the CCA Excellence Awards ceremony, held in Glasgow in November.

Search currently has a workforce of almost 700, in 13 offices across the UK.
