workthing.com, part of hotonline.com, the UK online recruitment and job search network, has been confirmed as the official sponsor of the accompanying magazine and website of The Apprentice television show.

A partnership was struck in 2006, between workthing.com and EMP Plc, publishers of the official Apprentice magazine, to provide expert recruitment and career content alongside the series.

workthing.com has embraced the opportunity and will be delivering a bountiful mix of highly visible, creative online and offline activity.

A succession of high profile activities and recruiter opportunities are already developed and in place, to coincide with the highly anticipated third series.

The show kicks off on Wednesday, 28th March on BBC1 at 9pm. The shift from BBC2 to BBC1 following the success of the last series combined with heightened content and activity surrounding the hit program, means that audience and readership figures are set to vastly exceed last yearsí 3 million weekly viewers. Furthermore, readership of the magazine is expected to break the 400,000 mark in the UK.

The official Apprentice magazine in association with workthing.com will reach the high street in May with the Apprenticemagazine.co.uk website going live straight after the first show. There will be an exclusive newsletter every week, detailing highlights from the magazine as well as exclusive competitions. This activity will continue throughout 2007.
