Works.com and Administaff - 03/2001

-

Works.com has entered into an agreement with Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will co-market the Works Purchasing Management Application(SM) (PMA), a web-based eProcurement application that helps businesses better control and reduce purchasing costs, to Administaff's clients.

Administaff is a pioneer in delivering web-based outsourced business services to small and medium-size businesses throughout the United States, said Bo Holland, CEO of Works.com. By offering clients access to the PMA, Administaff will help its clients capitalize on the cost and efficiency benefits that up-front control over business purchasing provides.

Administaff views the alliance with Works.com as a unique opportunity to enhance its client acquisition and retention rates. As part of the alliance, Works.com will provide Administaff with a co-branded version of the Works PMA, which clients can access through Administaff's eCommerce portal, bizzport(SM). Works.com will also provide operations management and customer service for clients using the PMA, enabling each client company to focus on its core business.

The latest version of the Works PMA, announced on February 12, 2001, includes a number of new features such as the CFO Purchasing Dashboard and the ability to manage both online and offline expenditures. The CFO Purchasing Dashboard provides financial executives with real-time visibility into company spending and enables them to enforce budgets and make adjustments on the fly. The online/offline spending management capabilities ensure that customers have a single process for managing 100 percent of their businesses' purchases.

Through our alliance with Works.com, we are now able to provide clients with an easy and cost-efficient way to manage their purchasing needs, said Paul J.
