Welsh Salaries Up 22%!!!

Wales is the place to be right now when it comes to wages.

Average advertised salaries in Wales on job site allthetopbananas.com reveal a 22% rise year on year, coming in at £34,520.  This figure punches well above the current national UK average of £27,271.

AllTheTopBananas Ltd analysed more than 200,000 jobs advertised on its website, between February 2018 – May 2018 and the same period in 2017.  The increase is not matched anywhere else in the UK.

The rise follows the trend for Wales over the last 12 months which has been steadily increasing.  https://bit.ly/2MrsCiu

And the even better news for Wales is while house prices have out stripped earnings in England, there has been no significant change in Wales for a decade.

According to the latest report on housing affordability released by the Office For National Statistics in April this year, the latest year that affordability ratio was significantly different from 2017 in Wales, is 2007, therefore, buying a home has only notably changed over a 10-year period.

So if you’re looking for a competitive salary together with affordable property then consider what Wales offers.  It might be the best move you make.
