Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software Awarded a Place on G-cloud Agreement by Crown Commercial Service

Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software has been awarded a place on the agreement for the supply of recruitment software to the public sector under a public sector framework agreement with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS)

Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software has been awarded a place on the agreement for the supply  of recruitment software to the public sector under a public sector framework agreement with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) acts on behalf of the Crown to drive savings for the taxpayer and improve the quality of commercial and procurement activity.

To be allowed to participate in the framework, suppliers must follow a stringent tendering process known as the OJEU process (the Official Journal of the European Union, the central database for European public sector tender notice) under the Open Procedure.

Tony Brookes, Sales Director, Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software, said, “We are very pleased that Vacancy Filler and its recruitment software platform will be listed in the CCS digital marketplace where suppliers offer their services to the public sector via the G-Cloud framework.  The agreement we have signed is with G Cloud 6 - lot 3 Software as a Service - which is the sixth iteration of the framework.   Public sector bodies can review and buy these services through the Digital Marketplace without themselves having to go to tender.

In addition, we will be able to carry the logo on our literature and website.”

Since cloud computing allows organisations to access internet-based computing, rather than investing heavily in their own hardware and software, there are a number of advantages to purchasing products in this way.  These include the ability to:-

  • avoid long contracts
  • buy the exact amount of computing resources required
  • save money on maintenance and physical storage
  • avoid custom-built solutions which take a long time to create, are expensive and difficult to upgrade.
