-

totaljobs.com has announced a major 1million sponsorship deal with the Capital Radio Group, Britain's largest radio group and broadcaster to over half of the UKs adult population. The deal is a first for the UK broadcast industry and will integrate totaljobs.com's online recruitment services with 17 of Capital Radio Group's 19 licences nation-wide.

Tailored to the demographics of the listeners, totaljobs.com will provide details on more than 50 jobs throughout the UK, reaching approximately 13 million Capital Radio Group listeners daily. Listeners can then access additional information about the jobs broadcasted through their local radio station website or totaljobs.com.

Shaun Collins, head of marketing at totaljobs.com, said: Sponsoring Capital Radio Group Stations reflects totaljobs.com's drive to push the envelope when it comes to alerting both job seekers and employers of our vast resources. Connecting with listeners through the Capital Radio Group gives us access to a medium with an extensive national audience reach. Our decision to be associated with some of the most reputable radio stations in the UK is consistent with our strategy to continue to partner with the biggest and best national media to communicate the scale and effectiveness of the totaljobs.com offering.

Simon Shroot, account manager at CRA said: This is an exciting feature for Capital Radio Group. It offers the client stand out in our major conurbation areas and offers our listeners a trusted environment where they can find out about the latest jobs across the country.

Caroline Graham, account director at CDP Media commented: Combining the strengths of on and off-line media to provide an all year round presence, allows totaljobs.com to demonstrate the diversity of jobs available, increase brand salience, encourage trial and most importantly drive response.

Ann O'Neill, head of S&P at Capital Radio, added: totaljobs.com is another great example of how Capital Radio Advertising is now offering clients National cross-platform sponsorship opportunities which meet both long term brand building objectives as well as meeting specific tactical needs.

The daily segments will be broadcast live for a 12-month period.
