Top Jobs On The Net Goes Bananas With Exciting New Campaign - 03/2000

Launch Of New Ad Campaign

Top Jobs on the Net is communicating the strength of its market leader status through a new ad campaign.

The recruitment website, which launched in the UK in April 1996, established its early market dominance through a series of unrivalled on-line deals. The company swiftly moved to build brand awareness off-line, targeting management, professional and technical job seekers, new to the benefits of an on-line job search. The new ad campaign is designed to reinforce these benefits to a new wave of job seekers.

Launched on 28th February, the new 1 million nation-wide advertising campaign will run for 12 weeks. It exploits the `Top Banana' theme on Channel 4 television, on virtually every major commercial radio station in the country, in all the top male and female
lifestyle magazines as well as a poster campaign targeting key London Underground stations. The campaign, by Manchester based agency Centrix with media buying through TCS Media North, is designed to target job seekers looking for management, professional and technical opportunities.

With a rapidly increasing number of job seekers going on-line in the UK every month, Top Jobs on the Net have come up with a fun campaign to tickle their taste buds. We only advertise the top jobs from top companies to the top people and our `Top Banana' campaign reflects this, says Liz Ramsbottom, UK Marketing Manager, Top Jobs on the Net. Through a diverse mix of media platforms from TV to radio, travel magazines to posters, UK job seekers can't possibly miss us. www.topjobs.co.uk
