Kennedy Information's Conference to be Largest e-Recruiting Event in World

An all-star lineup will discuss innovative solutions and best practices in online recruiting at Kennedy Information's e-Recruiting & Staffing Conference, being held November 16-17 at New York's Jacob Javits Center. Event sponsors include The Wall Street Journal and The Industry Standard.

This is the industry event, said Tony Lee, Editor in Chief and General Manager of CareerJournal.com, the executive career site of The Wall Street Journal and a Kennedy Information partner. The conference is expected to be the world's largest gathering of e-recruiting professionals, topping the more than 900 leaders who met for Kennedy's e-Recruiting & Staffing Conference last May in Las Vegas.

Featured speakers include: Monster.com CEO Jeff Taylor, Headhunter.net CEO Robert Montgomery, CareerBuilder CEO Rob McGovern, iVillage Chairperson Candice Carpenter, Guru.com Co-CEO Jon Slavet, LeadersOnline CEO Michael Christy, The Industry Standard Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Weber, Heidrick & Struggles Partner Kelvin Thompson, CruelWorld CEO Jeff Hyman, WetFeet.com CEO Gary Alpert, kforce President Joe Liberatore, Recruitsoft CEO Louis Tetu, Webhire CEO Marty Fahey, PowerHiring CEO Lou Adler, CareerXRoads authors Mark Mehler & Gerry Crispin and Weddle's President Peter Weddle.

The new front line in the war for talent is the Internet, said Wayne Cooper, CEO of Kennedy Information. Recruiting and retention have clearly become the most important responsibilities facing today's business leaders.

The conference includes a cocktail reception and extensive exhibition with more than 100 solution providers. The networking opportunities alone make this the 'must-attend' event of the year, added Cooper. It will be the most comprehensive gathering of industry leaders and solution providers ever assembled.
Leading vendors at the event include CruelWorld, Bridgepath.com, Futurestep.com, CareerEngine, Guru.com, PowerHiring.com, Recruitsoft, Vault.com, iJob, Bernard Hodes, Techies.com, icPlanet.com, WetFeet.com, Referral.com and JobDirect.com.

Kennedy Information has also partnered with AIRS, a global leader in Internet recruitment training, to provide a post-conference training session covering the latest techniques for finding quality candidates on the Internet. This half-day seminar titled ActiveSearch covers AIRS concepts and manual search processes as well as AIRS automated advanced meta-search capabilities.
