TMP Worldwide, the leading provider of global recruitment solutions, today announced the acquisition of Swedish IT and Telecoms recruitment specialists SCI Search Competence International, by its Executive Resourcing division.
Completion of the acquisition represents the first move into the Swedish recruitment market by TMP Worldwide Executive Resourcing. TMP Worldwide paid approximately US$491,000 in cash and issued 44,810 shares of common stock for all of the outstanding shares of SCI Search Competence International. The acquisition will further strengthen TMP Worldwide's position in the global executive recruitment market.
TMP Worldwide already leads the global Internet recruitment market through its career portal, Monster.com, and is the world's largest recruitment advertising network and a leading Executive Search and Selection agency.
