timeware launches new workforce management solution

One of the UK’s leading developers of workforce management solutions, timeware (UK), has launched a new software package to help businesses deal with a wide range of HR issues

One of the UK’s leading developers of workforce management solutions, timeware (UK), has launched a new software package to help businesses deal with a wide range of HR issues.

The timeware Professional 2015 package has been developed to provide businesses, large or small, with a complete workforce management solution to help tackle everyday problems such as absence in the workplace, recruitment, employee attendance, security and payroll.

As standard, timeware Professional 2015 includes 10 software modules - personnel, absence management, employee attendance, access control, cost centre analysis, fire alarm roll call, assembly point, reports, Employee Self Service (ESS) and timeware Web Client (TWC).

The personnel software provides an efficient way of managing a company’s data and allows HR professionals to access employee’s information quickly and easily. All information is stored in one place and can be updated and viewed at any time. From copies of passports to previous employer references and bank details, timeware personnel stores the data centrally and in a secure environment.

The absence management system helps businesses to track holiday entitlements, manage holiday schedules and monitor absenteeism. The software specifically keeps track of the types of absenteeism in the workplace, as well as monitors holidays and days booked in advance. Whereas the attendance module provides businesses with the tools to schedule where a workforce should be and how long they should be working. It monitors any employee’s that are late and it also makes sure the correct hours have been worked and any overtime has been authorised.

Access control provides indispensible security to a company’s property and allows the full control of doors, barriers and gates. It works seamlessly with the attendance and personnel modules to track all employees’ movements for example, when they enter and exit a particular building using fingerprint reader technology. It also records anyone who tries to access a site outside of working hours.

ESS gives power back to the employee’s by enabling them to request holidays, cancel leave, view rotas and email information back to their account, all at the touch of a button. While TWC allows managers to overview these requests and deal with them efficiently, even when they’re away from their desks.

In addition, timeware offers bespoke product development and optional add-ons not covered by the standard package to cater for a wide range of business needs. For example, payroll integration, which sets useful reminders and eliminates the need for third party software, and lone worker GPS monitoring, which allows employer’s to track remote workers whereabouts.

Simon Birchall, managing director at timeware, said: “We created timeware professional 2015 to provide a one-stop solution for businesses covering recruitment through to exit interview and everything in-between. What makes the 2015 package stand out from the crowd is not only our exceptional software but also our range of ‘own-manufactured’ data collection and access control hardware, which combines to provide one of the most powerful and flexible workforce management solutions on the market today.

“Our team in the UK have been developing hardware and software for over 26 years. Not only do we strive to supply our clients with the best systems available, we also provide them with ongoing support and individual training so they can get the most out of our products and expertise.”
