TempBuddy Wins Silver STEVIE® Award In 2016 International Business Awards

Contingent Workforce Software Innovator Celebrates Fourth Award Win This Year

TempBuddy is named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the B2B Start-Up category in The 13th Annual International Business Awards today.

The International Business Awards is the world’s premier business awards programme. All individuals and organisations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2016 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories. A record total of more than 3,800 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year in a wide range of categories.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August. One judge described TempBuddy as: “a powerful application based on an innovative idea”, with another praising it for: “revolutionising an industry and bringing win-win benefits to all stakeholders - inspiring!”. A further judge lauded Tempbuddy’s “innovative approach to streamline the recruitment and management of temp staff. The software utilises the latest in cloud technology, is available on a range of devices and is secure and easy to use for all. TempBuddy has a very bright future with an opportunity to diversify.”

Rod Smyth, CEO and founder, TempBuddy, said “I’m delighted to be recognised with this prestigous international business award - our fourth industry endorsement this year. It’s a true testament to the originality of our staffing software that helps agencies get their best people to the right place at the right time. Every week we see more staffing companies improve their recruiters’ productivity, their fill rates and speed-to-fill, and enhance their competitive advantage by using TempBuddy. The award goes to the entire team who are committed to creating and delivering our game-changing technology.”

“This year’s IBA judges were treated to many remarkable and inspiring stories of achievement around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.  “We look forward to sharing many of these stories with people around the world over the coming months, through the Stevie Awards blog and social media channels, with the hope that they will inspire and instruct the next generation of business achievers.”

TempBuddy seeks to reimagine the deployment and management of temporary workers by tapping into the ubiquity of mobile devices, plus other technological advances such as biometrics and geo-tagging. Their game-changing platform and worker app have already been adopted by users in over 600 cities across 3 continents, and by over 60 recruitment companies. This is the fourth industry award they have scooped this year including the highly coveted Recruiter Magazine’s Recruitment Technology Innovation of the Yeard Award.
